| BOARDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS |
All animals must be current on required vaccinations and have
had an intestinal parasite screen within the last year and also be
current on heartworm prevention. If pet(s) are not current, they will be
examined and brought to current status as per hospital protocols,
unless medically contraindicated. If pet(s) are not current on heartworm
prevention, they will be tested and given a dose of heartworm
prevention while they are here to prevent them from getting diseases
and to protect our other patients. For more information on hospital
protocols or current status, please ask a staff member.
All animals must be free of internal and external parasites. If
internal parasites are found, the animal will be treated at the owner’s
expense. All animals will be administered Capstar for a fee of $6.64 to
kill any fleas present and also to give some protection while they are
boarding with us. Female dogs in heat will be charged an additional
$6.50 per day due to increased nursing care and necessary
separations.
Boarding is charged by the day, beginning the day that your pet
comes in. Check-in time is before 5 p.m. on regular business days
and before 11 a.m. on days that we are only open until 12 noon.
Check-out time is 12 noon. If your pet is checked out before this
time, there will be NO charge for that day. If your pet is checked out
after noon, normal boarding fees apply.
Payment Policies and Deposits: A credit card number or other
form of payment is needed to reserve boarding space. The held credit
card number will be charged a deposit of $50 per pet during normal
boarding times and $75 per pet during holidays (including spring
break). This deposit is to be paid when the pet is dropped off. It will be
deducted from the boarding charges incurred and any necessary
refunds will be made.
If there are any changes that need to be made to your boarding
arrangements, please notify us at the first opportunity. 48 hours notice
is required for cancellations and changes during normal boarding
times. 10 days notice is required for cancellations and changes during
holiday boarding times. The held credit card number will be charged

cancelled after the notice term has lapsed.
